Thématiques de recherche

I am a neurologist specializing in epilepsy surgery, with a particular focus on the intracerebral evaluation of focal epilepsy using stereo-electroencephalography (SEEG). My research aims to unravel the neural mechanisms underlying face perception using intracerebral recordings and electrical stimulation in patients with epilepsy.

I am especially interested in how a multimodal approach—combining intracerebral electrophysiology, functional neuroimaging, effective connectivity and electrical stimulation can offer new insights into the functional architecture of face processing in the human brain.

I currently practice as a neurologist at the University Hospital of Nancy (CHRU-Nancy, France) and as Professor of Physiology at Faculty of Medicine of Nancy (Université de Lorraine).
