Thématiques de recherche

In general:

I am a highly motivated Doctorant eager to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). My goal is to generate new hypotheses about the molecular and epigenetic interactions driving this disease and to translate these findings into innovative therapeutic strategies. I am particularly interested in contributing to the advancement of biotechnology and biomedicine toward developing effective treatments for IPF.

In detail:

The role of MICEE-FUS-SDC1 axis and non-canonical secondary nucleic acid structures in 3D genome organization during IPF

This project will perform integrative multi-omics analyses on primary lung fibroblasts from IPF patients and healthy donors to study MiCEE, regulatory non-coding RNAs, histone modifications, non canonical acid structures and chromatin organization. Results will be validated in human precision-cut lung slices (hPCLS). Additionally, we will investigate the role of non canonical acid structures in IPF. These studies aim to uncover the molecular basis of IPF and guide the development of curative, mechanism-based therapies.
